Space Shuttle Mission 2007™
Anniversary Service Pack 3.1 and new manuals released. With the occasion of the Anniversary of the first Space Shuttle
Mission STS-1 launch on April 12, 1981, Exciting Simulations is proud
to release today a new free Service Pack for the Space Shuttle
Mission 2007 simulator.
A major update for VoxATC, the only ATC add-on for FSX with proper
interactive voice recognition, is now available. The new features include: TGS (Taxi Guidance System) lighting at large airports. You can now
'follow the greens' to and from the runway.
The popular T-Rex 250 is now part of the T-Rex Edition for a total of
five helicopters. The T-Rex 250 is a micro-sized electric helicopter, with the usual
high quality found in the Align brand. Flying weight is about 330
grams with a main rotor diameter of 460mm.
FlightSim Greenland released a new "Pilor for Hire" mission, with
a surprise. You will fly from Sisimiut (BGSS) to the ISTAK Hydroplant
northeast of Sisimiut. But this is not a regular transport mission.
We only hope you have enough fuel to this mission, and the weather
won't get worse.
Announcing the F-4 Phantom by PRE-Flight RC Simulator. The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is the most numerous American
supersonic military aircraft ever. It also holds the record for the
longest continuous production (24 years) for a fighter. When first
flown in 1960, it had advanced pulse-doppler radar and made extensive
use of titanium in its airframe - the first time in any jet fighter.
Sailplaning, a new documentary by Visual Approach, gives you insight into the special world of "real" or unpowered flight, from the basics to the extreme. You learn about the history of Farkashegy ("Wolf Mountain") Airfield in Hungary, and get detailed, close-up presentations of various glider planes, including the Gobe, Erno Rubik's legendary aircraft used by many generations of student pilots.
Exciting Simulations has released today a major Service Pack for the Space Shuttle Mission 2007 simulator. Among the many additions and changes, the download adds new communications for the launch phase, revised and enhanced HUD graphics, functionality and modes, new Approach and Landing guidance, improved flight model and the usual fixes.
