HiTech Creations Launches Next Generation of Award-Winning Online WWII Flight Simulator: Aces High II

GRAPEVINE, TX - June 23, 2004 - HiTech Creations, producer of the award winning online WWII combat simulation Aces High, has officially launched the next generation of its massively multiplayer flight simulator with Aces High II.

The new online sim, which allows thousands of players to simultaneously fight World War II air battles over the Internet, is a new and improved follow-up to Aces High, the most popular massively multiplayer online flight simulator in the world.

Aces High, first introduced in 2000, was continuously expanded through 12 different versions. Each version added new features such as integrated voice communications, expansion into land and sea combat, a combat film recorder, a terrain editor, and an ever-expanding assortment of combat equipment that grew from 15 planes to 75 planes, vehicles, and boats.

Over the years, more than 100,000 people from over 50 countries worldwide have played Aces High. GamesDomain called it the best online flight simulation experience and Simulation Headquarters twice awarded it Online Flight Sim of the Year.

Aces High II follows up on Aces High with a redesigned game engine offering greater graphics capabilities, micro-feature terrain technology, more realistic flight modeling, new damage effects, an expanded interface, custom paint schemes, and a host of other improvements and new capabilities.

Aces High II also sets the stage for HiTech Creation's next twist in realistic online simulations: Tour of Duty. Tour of Duty is being developed as an expansion of Aces High II that brings to life a new online world that combines combat simulation and military role-playing in a historical World War II setting.

In this structured environment, players create persistent characters that will follow a career path with either the Axis or Allies through the course of the war. Represented by custom avatars, player/characters will receive promotions and medals, or demotions and even court-martials based upon their performance at completing assigned missions. Tour of Duty will reward both cooperative and competitive play.

"Aces High II is a great platform for us to expand the traditional scope of online air-combat games," says company CEO, Dale Addink. "We're excited about the technological advances that allow us to put more detail into the simulation and create a more immersive environment for the players. We look forward to following up with Tour of Duty and taking this genre of entertainment even further."

Aces High II can be downloaded free of charge at http://www.flyaceshigh.com. Massively multiplayer action requires a monthly subscription of $14.95, an Internet connection, and 850 MHz computer running Windows 95/98/ME/2K/XP, a DirectX 9 compatible video card, and a joystick.
