SpectroGrafx Productions, Inc. (SGPI) would like to announce that the FS Design University will be opening up very soon. This online instructional school will be hosting classes for all aspects of design for Microsoft's Flight Simulator series.
Current courses are:
- Plane model design basics
- Plane model design advanced
- Scenery model design basics
- Scenery model design advanced
- Basic plane painting
- Advanced plane painting
- Scenery & Terrain mesh design basics
- Scenery & Terrain mesh design advanced

The courses will be taught by people that are 'experts' in their field. People that have made us all very happy with the work they do, usually for free, so that we can fly great planes, into great places.
Each instructor will meet with their class the first day to go over their course syllabus and what, if any, software will be required for the course. They will also determine how long that course will take and how often they will meet. We will make every effort to try and accommodate all the students and will offer make up classes and alternate times and days.
The software required for a class will be free or have a trial period in which the students can learn what they need and then hopefully buy the software if they enjoy using it. SGPI will be attempting to obtain special pricing for software used in the courses whenever possible. SGPI has already obtained the software that will be used FOR the school by each student at a HUGE discount to the students.
NOTE: All prices and mention of costs or money is done so in United States Dollars.
The cost for most courses will be $20.00. However, the FIRST time you take a course, you will be required to pay an additional $15.00. This pays for the software license for the software that will be used for the classes as well as one time only registration fee for the school. This simply means, that once you have paid that original $15.00, you own the software used for the school (note, this is commercial software that can connect you to 1000's of servers all around the world) and you are registered forever in the school. You can take classes anytime you wish and never have to pay the registration fee again.
The registration and licensing fee of $15.00 is NON refundable. The course registration fee can be refunded in full before the class begins. After the first meeting, 75% of the course cost is refundable. After the second meeting, there is no refund as we would have already paid the instructor.
Class size will be limited for each session to 20 people. This will give the instructors more time to deal with questions and individual help when needed.
