News: MoTIS Virtual Jet Design Celebrates Six Months In Service

 MoTIS VJD opened its doors to the simulating communiy back in mid- September and has been on the go ever since! Otis Watson the CEO of MoTIS VJD has been building flight simulator aircraft since the release of FSDS1 and has created, designed, and legally copyrighted over 200 original designs for the flight simulating community. We released the M22 Air Taxi Standard as a very rough BETA release to show the design sytle that MoTIS will be bringing to the Freeware/Payware environment. MoTIS VJD sees itself as a very diffrent type of flight simming group in the sence that we are using the tools of flight simulation to bring you potiential designs that could be built in the real world. None of our designs exist in the real world as of yet ?. Concept design has existed in flight simulation as long as I can remember but we have taken it a step further. We believe that we are truly on the cutting edge of something new. Designing any aircraft for flight simulation programs can be a tiring ,difficult ,and exciting all in the same breath, but designing a whole new idea from the bottom up and then putting those same ideas into action and constructing a new design that is both fun to fly , quality geared , and generally accepted is a whole nother balll game all together. FS third party designers know this all to well. MoTIS is here to stand in the door way of the unknown in virtual aviation and take risks as a group an break boundaries and possibly excite you all in the same stroke. MoTIS realizes that flight simulation has made it possible to recreate conditions and situations in the real world and that dedicated flight sim fans range for those who use the simulator to train for real world flying and those who just enjoy the fun of desk top flying. We want to excite them all! To the real world flyer we want to be seen as a virtual Boeing or Cessna exciting you with the next new and up and coming Cessna 152 or Boeing 737, and to the desk top flyer we want to be seen as the guys who build the cool new and diffrent stuff that makes flight simulation so fun! We chose concept design to bring to the world because this aspect of third party design is almost none existant as a major venture! There are so many awesome development firms out there building Beechs and Pipers that we felt we could help to get concept and experimental design on the map.

We know that we are doing things a bit differently from other aircraft manufacturing firms but we have to because designing a whole new aircraft from nothing and then building it is hard work!
