In our 2D Panels first, and now with this PA-31-310 we try to find a middle ground between complexity and easiness of use, as much as the 2D Panel concerns, as to the plane itself. What it means is that, in our PA-31 2D Panel, you can see, read and handle as many gauges as a medium quality monitor screen allows, with a gauges layout as real as possible, without opening and closing overlapping pop-up windows all the time. The 2D Panel have just three windows, each one of them perfectly assembled in the panel, achieving an homogeneous aspect of it, whatever the window you choose during your flying.
Concerning the aircraft model, this is not one of that master pieces of design for Microsoft Flight Simulator you can find in some commercial aircraft. But neither you'll need the most powerful PC system you could find to make the most of it. When you turn to an outside view or go to Virtual Cockpit you'll get a reasonable frame rate, not a slide show, nor have to wait many seconds while the VC loads or aircraft textures are applied. We've attempted to simplify the model to avoid this. By the way, you can use only VC, if you prefer, as long as all the gauges can be operated in it. Read more in:
