Enjoying Real Flights - B737 And B777

Posted on Wednesday, October 13 @ 20:21:14 BST by darklord

Editorial
Recently well-known aircraft designer Shigeru Tanaka and his wife enjoyed a three day trip to Hokkaido that included two airline flights (Boeing 737 and Boeing 777) as well as a visit to the Chitose Museum Of Dreaming Flyers. He has decided to share his experiences with other flightsimmers and more can be found here.

Aircraft designer Shigeru Tanaka had a 3-day trip to Hokkaido, enjoying pleasant flights of a real Boeing 737-400 from Osaka International Airport to New Chitose Airport, and a Boeing 777 on his way back home. Especially, on the way-back Boeing 777, he got a good window side seat to enjoy exciting outside views of the real flight world for about 2 hours from dusk to night.

While, on the last day of the trip, he had an unexpected pleasure to find some actual size replicas of historically famous airplanes exhibited at "Chitose Museum Of Dreaming Flyers" in New Chitose Airport terminal building.

Actual size replicas exhibited there included Leonard da Vinci flyer model, 1894 Otto Lilienthal glider, 1903 Wright Flyer, 1911 Henry Farman, 1927 Ryan NYP Spirit of St. Louis, and so forth. Besides these actual size replicas, exhibited also there were fine scale models with a theme title "World's No.1 Airplanes", including Macchi MC.72 racing floatplane, Supermarine S.6B racing floatplane, Gee Bee R-1 racing plane, Dornier Do-X flying boat, Howard Hughes HK-1 Spruce Goose, and Raymond Stits Sky Baby, and much more there for aircraft enthusiasts to enjoy.
