    News:

    NASA Offers Engine Sim

Posted on Saturday, October 23 @ 20:11:36 BST by darklord

Other flight sim related news NASA is offering an engine sim, and a foil sim to public on their web site. These and other aerodynamics simulations offered to the public and students for free present users with a graphic representation of air foils, and engine configurations along with realtime animated wind tunnel simulations, and shows instant results to changes made by the users. They offer both on-line web based and off-line downloadable java applets and stand alone apps. They also offer links to a vast wealth of information on aerodynamics for begginers and advanced users alike. NASA's engine sim web site is located here. These engine and air foil sims as well as mach speed, and shock wave sims would be a fantastic interactive educational attraction to add to a flight sim related web site for those looking to improve skills in making simuation related aircraft, and indeed for learning about real-world physics involving flight.
