SEOUL, October 22 - Korean Air Virtual opened today as the eighteenth virtual airline of SimAirline.net, the global virtual airline organization. Korean Virtual is based on the Korean national airline and is the second SimAirline.net virtual airline to be based in Asia. The virtual airline operates primarily from Seoul Gimpo and Seoul Incheon, but also operates from other domestic bases in Busan, Daegu, and Jeju, and operates all flights that Korean Air does in real life.
"Korean Air is celebrating its 35th year of privatized operations this year, and we are proud to finally bring a stable Korean Air-based virtual airline to the flightsimming community," said owner Aaron Robinson. "Not only does Korean Air give us an additional base in Asia and Korea in particular, but it also is helping expand our connections with China, the fastest growing market in the world." Korean Air flies to 13 destinations in China, six of which are new to SimAirline.net's virtual airlines. SimAirline.net's next virtual airline will be based on Air Canada, and will open following the completion of predetermined monthly goals by its pilots.
Korean Air Virtual is located at http://www.simairline.net/koreanair/, and is part of the SimAirline.net group of virtual airlines, which allows all pilots to fly all the flights of its eighteen virtual airlines.
