    Fly To Hawaii 2004 Released

Posted on Wednesday, November 24 @ 20:07:54 GMT by darklord

Flight Simulator 2004 Now available from FlightSoft is the upgraded FS2004 compatible version of Fly To Hawaii. The package includes a sophisticated model of the Douglas DC-10 jetliner in a wide variety of liveries as well as scenery of Hawaii. For full details, click on Read More.

FlightSoft's President & CEO says, " This release was particularly challenging in that it was a massive effort that involved a number of development teams. This is a massive release. The list of features is almost endless. FlightSoft's Development Groups have produced a truly stunning title just in time for the Christmas Season. Customers have waited for this title for almost a year. The enormous anticipation level for this title has been a test of patience for many of our fans. Fly to Hawaii 2004 has successfully come thru the production cycle and is now released to retail stores and individual customers."

FLY TO HAWAII 2004 boasts the most complicated and sophisticated visual model of the DC10 Jetliner released to the public todate. You'll be flying a DC10 Jetliner that has all the visual characteristics you expect in state of the art jetliners. Plus a DC10 Cockpit that is fabulous and those aircraft sounds will bring you back to that `classic' era with the wind at your back and the blue sky straight ahead.

The DC10 Flight Office sports that `ole classic' look of the 70's. You can visibly see some wearing on the knobs and the background panel ... the `very worn' parts and the `old look' of this panel puts  it in the 1970's. This is just one of the panel features that give it its `authentic' look and feel from the period of the `classic three holers.'

The Flight Office sports a GPS System for a modern onboard navigation system in addition to the `classic' INS (Inertial Navigation System) navigation system of the 1970's. You'll find this feature particularly effective as you immerse yourself in over 170 Flight Plans that have been designed for use with either the `classic' INS Navigation System of the 70's or the modern GPS system of our times. This title is also the only DC10 Jetliner package in the FlightSoft  series that will instruct you on use of the INS Navigation System with a detailed example on how to load the waypoints in the INS Computer and prepare it for use on long haul flights to Hawaii, the Caribbean, locations in Europe, North America, Latin America and South America, South East Asia or even the Congo and other exotic African locations.

You'll be challenged in your PC Pilotage skills as you navigate the onboard navigation systems and fly not only to Hawaii and its island paradises but also to some of the most intriguing locales in the world including Timbuktu and Katmandu.

But don't take our word for it just go to your favorite retailer and purchase your copy of FLY TO HAWAII 2004 and see what all the buzz is all about. Take a close look at the panel graphics and imagine operating the controls of a massive DC10 Jetliner. Imagine you're performing a short field takeoff and will have to operate a lower fuel intake and reduce the weight of the aircraft in order to get traction during the takeoff roll and get this massive jetliner airborne before the end of the runway.

What about those exotic airports in Africa? Nairobi, Uganda, Ghana,  exotic Namibia and its mysterious Windhoek Intl Airport, or the strange sand dunes of Khartoum, the hot and sticky Sudan and then fly to the Seycheles Islands and island of Mauritius for a refreshing cool breeze away from the hot scorching African sun.

Casablanca beckons you and those `ole Bogart' movies provide the backdrop or simply fly to Tangiers and visit the Bazaar for a cup of tea with lemon. These are the type of locations that movies are made of and don't think for a moment that Fly to Hawaii 2004 is only about Hawaii. This title is the equivalent of 4 or 5 products in one stunning package. You fly to Delhi India, Phuket Thailand, Chicago  Illinois, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Palma De Majorca and the Canary Islands of Spain, what about Royal Brunei, or Tahiti or even Pago Pago? You see ... this is a big massive title for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. We like to call it the `Crown Jewel' of the Microsoft Flight Simulator addon market. This is a title like no other and we've only just begun to describe its wonders.

One of the wonders of this fantastic title is the ATC Audio. The Air Traffic Control audio is recorded directly from Hawaii from the very flights that fly into its exotic islands. You'll be directed by Air  Traffic Control to make turns, fly descents, and be asked if you see the island airport. You'll twist the knob to decrease airspeed, lower flaps and landing gear activate the Auto Approach Mode and look out the cockpit window down below to witness some of the most beautiful scenery in the world as you descend into Honolulu International Airport with real ATC Audio recorded `live' during the regularly scheduled flights into this airport. Now .... What could possibly surpass this feature? Imagine the most detailed DC10 Jetliner visual model ever offered to the flight sim community along with impressive cockpit graphics and impressive functionality combined with real Air Traffic Control Audio recorded in Hawaii for  your realism!

Let's now talk about the location. Why Hawaii? Hawaii is just one of those exotic holiday destinations that makes its mark on the psyche of holiday globtrotters everywhere. Whether you are a Walmart store in Germany or a retailer in the United States - this title will be showcased on your store shelves. Hawaiian Holiday destinations are appealing to customers in almost every country around the world. We'll have this title in retail stores in such countries as Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and even Hong Kong. This global title is a popular addon for PC pilots everywhere.

So why is this location so important for flightsim pilots around the world? Have you ever seen Hawaii? This is truly a tropical venue with lots of fabulous beaches, resort hotels, and some truly impressive mountaineous terrain.

FLY TO HAWAII 2004 will take you to all the resort holiday destinations in Hawaii including real ATC Audio approaches to Honolulu, Maui and Kona plus a variety of approaches to many of the other island airports in a variety of general aviation aircraft.

You'll be truly impressed when you climb into the seat of your Hawaiian DC10 Jetliner and maneuver a breathtaking approach under serious realworld windshear and crosswinds into Maui's Kahalui International Airport. As the wind causes your massive DC10 Jetliner to sway and buffet during descent on short final your control of the steering mechanism is critical to bring her down to the safety of the tarmac and then slow her down with full thrust reversers ... you'll have to use crosswind technique even during the landing roll for crosswinds are mysterious in this part of the world and can sneak up on you before you even know it.

Maui's Kahalui Airport is known for severe crosswinds - winds can peak at 70mph and with the FS2004 real weather internet linkup you'll know exactly what real DC10 pilots experience on approach to this fabulous island airport.

FLY TO HAWAII 2004 is certainly a well thought out title with plenty of features that will keep both the neophyte and advanced PC pilots engaged for a long long time. Please consider this fabulous title for in this package you'll discover the most advanced DC10 visual model ever designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator. You'll also be pleasantly surprised by the very functional DC10 Cockpit with that  `ole world' style and look that will keep you pleased especially when you hear the real world DC10 sounds connected to the landing gear apparatus and other acoustic marvels that aim to please the most finicky of PC pilot aficionados.

FLY TO HAWAII 2004 will bring it all home for the customer --- great graphics for visual models, cockpit flight office, impressive sound system for the jetliner acoustic theater, impressive ATC Audio - a one of its kind --- actual ATC Audio from the very flights flown into these Hawaiian Airline destinations, plus an assortment of approach flights into airports all over the world and to top this off are over  170 real world flight plans with actual INS and GPS coordinate waypoints just asking to be plugged into your Inertial Navigation System computer or the default Microsoft FS2004 GPS System for flying adventures to exotic destinations the world over.

You'll also receive a wide variety of DC10 liveries including all the Hawaiian Airlines liveries, plus the McDonald Douglas house colors and DC10 jetliners from Omni Air International, charter DC10 carriers, Western and National Airways and a KC10 Extender Military aircraft complete with refueling boom and much much more!

So don't say no to this unusual Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 addon ---- we all know you've waited enough and now its time to have fun. Just wait till you fly into Hawaii in the cockpit of an advanced DC10 Jetliner? This is your opportunity for climbing into the cockpit of a `classic' jetliner and taking the controls of a jumbo jet as you fly approaches into Honolulu, Maui, Kona and airports all throughout the world.

FLY TO HAWAII 2004 is now available for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight and fully backward compatible for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002.
