The Essential S-3 product comes with seven high quality textures in both 1970's style high-vis markings and current low vis grey colors and 5 visual models covering a variety of loadouts for the S-3B Viking and ES-3A Shadow.
Designed exclusively for Flight Simulator 2004 is a high detailed virtual cockpit with working flight controls and switches allowing for the aircraft to be flown entirely from the virtual cockpit if required.
Aaron Swindle has provided an excellent soundset for the Viking which captures the unique jet whine of the General Electric engines.
As usual, both aircraft feature a number of animations for users to take advantage from, including fully animated co-pilot in the virtual cockpit view, animated FLIR camera which pops out of the underside of the Viking Fuselage and extendable MAD Boom from the rear of the fuselage.
Other animations include extending and retracting refuelling hose from the buddy pod on the Viking and extending and retracting refuelling probe from the forward fuselage as well as animated weapons bays in the underside of the fuselage.
