Scenery Solutions (www.scenerysolutions.com), the creators of USA Roads for FS2004, today announced that it has signed an agreement to license NAVTEQ map data in North America and Europe effective immediately.
Scenery Solutions, whose products are published by Flight One Software (www.flight1.com), will be using NAVTEQ data to create exciting, new products for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The agreement will enable Scenery Solutions to develop a series of cost effective terrain scenery products for FS2004 based on the industry’s most accurate and detailed digital map.
Scenery Solutions selected NAVTEQ, a leading global provider of digital maps for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions, as the map data provider for its new products because of its requirement for the most geospatially accurate and comprehensive data.
After several months of development using the Navteq data, Scenery Solutions will very soon be releasing its lineup of upcoming products.
