Now available from Navigraph are updated charts for nDAC Base Pro, a software framework that handles digital vectorized aeronautical charts. For full details, click on Read More.
Navigraph nDAC Base Pro users can now benefit from newly compiled data. All AreaPacks have been revised and are now up to date per 09NOV04 and have also become slightly bigger. The established data transfer routines between European Aeronautical Group and Navigraph have increased the total chart database from 14,655 charts to 16,120.
To update charts, existing users may use an upgrade license. New users may purchase a Full License or benefit from a limited discounted offer on the previous revisions.
The increased chart database has also triggered the new Metropolitan AreaPack. As the Metropolitan AreaPack is among the larger AreaPacks, and also has a greater spread than the existing AreaPacks, it is primarily geared towards new users that would like to make a more extensive trial of the nDAC software.
Successful Revision of AreaPacks
The first successful chart database synchronization performed on 09NOV04 has now been approved for product release and is available as revised AreaPacks ready to import into the Navigraph nDAC Base Pro. The approach chart data was transferred from the European Aeronautical Group (EAG, former SAS Flight Support) database server and later linked to textual Aerodrome Directory Information (ADI) to further add to the information available in the chart material.
The established synchronization procedure marks the start of a process that will produce new AreaPacks in six month revision cycles. This will allow nDAC Base Pro users to have continuous supply of updated approach plates. At present this makes the nDAC Base Pro unique within its category of navigation products.
The existing AreaPacks are:
Full License for an AreaPack is EUR 25.00. A customer who previously bought a Full License for a previous AreaPack revision can purchase a later AreaPack revision with an Update License for EUR 10.00.
This transfer of data increased the total amount of charts available in the Navigraph database from previous 14 655 charts to 16 120. All of which will be made available once they have been packaged into AreaPacks geographically and thematically grouped.
