Flight One Software, in partnership with DreamFleet, is proud to announce the official release of Greatest Airliners: The 727. This product is now available for download purchase.
Born from the roots of one of the original aircraft of the passenger "Jet Age", the 707, the 727 provided a medium range alternative. With high-lift wings and a unique 3-engine tail mounted configuration, she featured a quiet cabin, short runway capability, and it became an instant hit with the airlines. This product, exclusively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, captures the essence of this beautiful aircraft.
Users can choose to fly from the Captain's or First Officer's panel, as well as many other panel views. These were created by two highly respected FS panel designers: Paul Golding and Nick Jacobs. Both of them spent countless hours perfecting the panel to an "authentic" standard that makes any user feel like they are actually sitting in this timeless classic. Highly detailed aircraft models, fully functional and highly detailed virtual cockpit, a sound suite recorded from the real aircraft, the Flight1 Text-o-Matic for repaints, and a full Configuration Manager round out this feature-rich package.
To top it all off, you get over 300 pages of documentation in the form of an Aircraft Operators Manual, Quick Reference Handbook, and Tutorial, together with flight situations, flight plans and weather.
Greatest Airliners: The 727 is also the first add-on aircraft to feature Reality XP's color weather radar as standard equipment. The 727 comes equipped with a special version of Reality XP's WX500 radar, appearing as the Bendix unit installed in many of today's real 727s.
