    VFR Guide to Azur-Alpes Released

Posted on Monday, December 20 @ 14:39:28 GMT by darklord

Flight Simulator 2004 Now available from Jaap van Hees is a VFR guide to Azur-Alpes. This is a complete packages with required mesh, AFCAD files, traffic, custom weather plus the actual guides to the flights. For full details, click on Read More.

Jaap van Hees was introduced to flying 'low and slow' after he bought Emma Field from LAGO and joined the Emma Field Flying Club (EFFC). After flying around on his own for some time, he thought it would be a nice idea to record his flights and make them available for his fellow club members. Not as 'flight' that can be installed, but as a series of writen instructions that would tell pilots in which direction to fly, what landmarks to check, which roads to follow. And so the Emma Tours were born.

Jaap now has decided to make his story-telling talents available to more people and shift his focus to different parts of the world. But...there is more! Where his freeware 'guides' were making use of default MS scenery, with all limitations attached, his commercial guides are INCLUSIVE of the required mesh, kindly made for us by Raimondo Taburet. Together with customized weather, AFCAD files, traffic files and tips for freeware scenery, this makes the Guide a COMPLETE package for you to enjoy.

It will provide you with an adventurous flight, using a road map and Jaap's descriptions to find your way, and ALSO gives you an excellent historic background of the cities and places of the area you visit, and lots of touristic information as well.

If you are not going on a holiday to the Cöte d'Azur or the Alps this year, then Jaap's Guide together with MS's Flight Simulator 2004 will be the next best thing!
