With new and improved client software on the horizon, a new flying club is in the works to compliment existing virtual airlines currently flying on the VATSIM network. Refuge GAFC is proud to announce that development has already begun on a new site and online community dedicated to sim pilots, new and old, interested in general aviation. This new and exciting flying club will feature a wealth of informative articles, flying instruction and online events supplied by experienced flight simmers and real pilots from around the globe! Many events will focus on the finer aspects of general aviation such as formation flying and VFR/IFR flights both within and outside of controlled airspace. New pilots will be encouraged to join in the fun while enjoying a mentor-rich environment and a community focused on building friendship among its members. Refuge GAFC will form as a partner site to The Refuge Simulation Association, also in development.
