Robin guides you through the artistic process and 'en-route' provides plenty of advice and expert top-tips. A fascinating insight into the world of aviation art
Made over a period of 2 months, this new DVD release is a unique fusion of aviation history and aviation art. It provides an interesting overview for the general viewer but a wealth of detail for the enthusiast and artist. It was filmed, recorded and edited using ITVV's full digital broadcast facilities.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
In the years following World War II it became traditional for a Spitfire and Hurricane to lead the Victory Day flypast over London. From that event, the idea grew to form a historic collection to commemorate the RAF's major battle honour, the Battle of Britain and latterly to broaden the scope to include all major RAF participants of WWII.
Today the BBMF is one of the worlds best known airworthy historic aircraft collections, fielding a Lancaster, a Dakota, five Spitfires, two Hurricanes and a pair of Chipmunks.
The programme was filmed with the kind co-operation of The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight who will receive a proportion of the revenue from all sales.
