    MegaCity Phoenix Now Available

Posted on Friday, July 07 @ 04:00:00 BST by darklord

Flight Simulator 2004 PC Aviator has released the next FS2004 add-on in their MegaScenery line of detailed photoreal scenery. MegaCity USA 2005 - Phoenix includes the city of Phoenix, Arizona along with 8400 square miles of surrounding area well suited for VFR flying. For details and screen shots, click on Read More.

SOUTH CAROLINA, 15 June 2006. MegaScenery publisher, PC Aviator, today announced the release of the next title from the MegaScenery development team - MegaCity USA 2005 - Phoenix.

MegaScenery has gone to the capital of the southwest as MegaCity Phoenix recreates the city of Phoenix plus a massive 8,400 square miles of surrounding areas of the state of Arizona for visual flying with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 that's at a level of clarity that is almost as real as real life itself - right down to being able to see sandtraps on golf courses.

The scenery is recreated from 1 foot per pixel aerial photos provided by AirPhotoUSA, who are actually based in Phoenix.

While the company is not endorsing it as a flight training tool or a replacement for any flight instruction the product does enable actual real world pilots and student pilots to gain familiarity of the area for real world flight ops and VFR flying applications.

And for the typical Flight Simulator pilot - the dreamer - MegaCity Phoenix brings the real Phoenix to their desktop for simulated flight in the area.

Like all titles from the MegaScenery team, NightScene™ technology is also included for realistic night flying that maps virtually every street, road and highway and uncannily resembles the same spine-tingling night flying experience you get in the real world.

MegaCity USA 2005 - Phoenix is available and shipping now. It is available on CD for just $24.95.

It will be available in July through a number of retail chains in the USA including Fry's Electronics and Microcenter stores and is available now through specialist online flight simulator dealers and direct from the publisher at www.megascenery.com.

More information, is available for viewing at the MegaScenery web site at www.megascenery.com.

MegaCity USA 2005 - Phoenix is created and developed by Australian company Aerosoft Australia Pty Ltd and published worldwide by PC Aviator Inc.
