XSimulate is creating a new DC-10-30 add-on for Flight Simulator 2004 and FSX to be released tentatively during the Easter season of 2007.

The DC-10-30 will be the primary model available, with add-on versions DC-10-10, -30ER, -30CF, -30F, -40, and possiby a KC-10A tanker planned in the near future.

Features of XSimulate's DC-10-30 include XML coding into the model to ensure the highest level of realism, fully-articulating control surfaces, a fully-modelled and highly functional main, overhead, pedestal, and flight engineer panel, an accurate soundset derived from real DC-10-30s operating in the Amsterdam area, a host of liveries covering the DC-10-30's operating career, and a high-fidelity, accurate flight dynamics engine developed from real DC-10 and KC-10 type-rated crew members and operating manuals.

The design team, consisting of members from around the world, includes a mix of both skilled veterans and new talent to the flight sim design community.

XSimulate has chosen Flight1 to release and distribute the product upon completion. Flight1 has a reputation as being one of the top flight simulator software publishers in the world.
