SkyFilm Productions is happy to announce that the Sun Valley Airpark documentary film has been released! Located in the Mohave Desert, Arizona, the Sun Valley Airport is not the usual airfield, but people have built their houses right by the taxiways and, in addition to the car garage, everyone has a hangar next to the home. Pilots taxi to the runway directly from their front door and the fully lit runway allows them to do it 24 hours a day. This documentary takes you right into the environment and introduces several people living at the airpark. They present their airplanes and give colourful descriptions of their lives and experiences. The selection of aircraft over there is quite amazing - be it the first Cessna 172 that hit the production line or a home-built Zenair CH300, there is something of interest for everyone. You can also expect a lot of flying in this film. We will take you up in a beautiful Mooney M20F for a groupflight to Chemehuevi Indian Reservation, California. Additionally, the owner of the airport, Jim Lambert, will give you a quick ride in his shiny Cessna 206 which has an abundance of modern avionics inside. Finally, Henry Ilves takes his Mooney to Jean Airport, Nevada over the gorgeous mountains and spectacular landscape. Illustrated with crystal-clear radio communications all the way and beautiful songs from globally known artists, an aviation enthusiast should really not skip this programme!
The length of the film is 1 hour 53 minutes. It is available on DVD and as an instantly downloadable version.
