It's another new month and almost Christmas too .... and at HJG that signals time for another web site update.
In fact the classic jetliner specialists at HJG have this month been exceptionally productive and accomplished several web site updates throughout December .... comprising of a host of both new and upgraded files for your "free" FS enjoyment.
Finally completed this month is the long and progressive transition of all remaining HJG B707-320, -320B, -320C and -420 repaints from the old version 5 to Gary Carlson's new "version 6" B707 models.
HJG's virtual flightline of military C-135's have also been expanded with the release of new P&W fanjet powered C-135C & N models, along with new NKC-135 & RC-135 models in both P&W fanjet and CFM turbofan form .... all faithfully reproduced with appropriate bumps, bulges, and other electronic protrusions/distortions .... represented in a variety of USAF service liveries.
A number of new B707/B720 and DC8 repaints representing some beautiful classic airliner subjects from Caribbean, European, Middle Eastern, and North and South American regions have also been released .... featuring both freight and passenger configured aircraft.
Also included among new jetliner subjects for December are HK (husk-kit) equipped B707-320B and -320C models (contained within respective aircraft base packs) and real world textures to suit, and the correct "DC8 SHIP ONE 1958" model by Dee Waldron .... faithfully representing this historic jetliner as configured at the time of her maiden flight on May 30th 1958 and featuring animated lower rear fuselage air brake doors in liew of an engine thrust reverser system.
