Delta 737-900ERModel features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    Please, for the older simmer, make the instructions for installation, idiot proof!

    I know many, if not all your subscribers are pretty sharp, but we older souls, we need a bit more foolproof detail.

    So I got it working...

    First, you have to extract both the FSX folder and the TDS739ER folder then go into the FSX folder and copy "model.LP2W3" then go into the TDS file, paste it and select overwrite also do this for the panel and aircraft.cgf file now delete the FSX folder done!

    I have had the same problems with loading this aircraft into the Steam edition of FSX. Given the other comments here, this download is not worth the time or effort. It needs some serious work.

    Extracted and moved files to effects, the plane does not show up. Instructions are wrong as there is no separate "CFG for ER" folder included with Aircraft.cfg modifications. There is no TDS B737-900 folder. Extract into Aircraft folder creates this name? tds_737-900er_deltaairlines_n952dn, then has an FSX folder under it?!

    I downloaded it and I solved the issue where it doesn't load, but then the CG and weight were messed up pretty badly. With flaps 10 I had to reach a speed of 260 knots before it even started to leave the ground. Also, the sound wasn't working and I had to use sound files from another model. Lastly, the aircraft has no navigation lights (common problem with the default 737-800 in FSX) so you have to look for a fix.
