Tim Krajcar and VATSIM, the Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network, are pleased to introduce "vataware" - a sophisticated traffic analysis & history tool for VATSIM data.
It can be used to look at trends in traffic by country, airport, airline, or pilot. It also tracks a "radar plot" of a flight (with datapoints taken every two minutes) so a pilot can see what route s/he ended up flying.
Tim has spent a great deal of time trying to optimize the queries and shine up the databases as best as he can, but it is recognised there may still be some unidentified problems. Tim is keen to have feedback via tha vataware forums to help him improve the program even further.
Please be patient if it seems slow at first. VATSIM has well over a hundred thousand users and there is a high level of initial demand. Any other questions, please read the FAQ on the vataware site.
