Flight Illusion is proud to launch the new Collins style avionics range. These tiny radio modules connect to the central interface card and are available in COM, NAV, ADF and ATC version.
The modules are similar to the radio stack as found in the KA350 or many other business jet or general aviation planes. They feature a dual digital display for standby and active frequency. The toggle switch can be used to transfer the standby frequency to active (when toggled up) or to scroll to the frequency memory list (when toggled down). Up to 10 frequencies can be stored in memory. Frequency is dialed in by a dual rotary encoder. The unit can be powered on or off by a switch knob. When powered off, the frequencies remain in memory.
The front panel of the radio unit is laser engraved and fully backlit. More information on www.flightillusion.com where a technical brochure is available.
