To celebrate the success of the Classic British Flight Sim site (which many members now consider to be the home of 'all things British' in the flight sim world), the staff would like to offer a very special prize in our first ever screen shot competition; the chance to be one of the very first flight simmers in the world to own a copy of the upcoming de Havilland Sea Vixen for FS2004 and FSX by Skysim.
This stunning new payware aircraft will go on sale in mid-December and is the first release from Skysim, a new name in the world of flight simulation, but a company that includes some of the very best FS add-on developers in the business.
This classic British carrier-based jet fighter from the 1960's can be flown entirely from its virtual cockpit, possibly one of the most realistic looking cold war period cockpits ever seen in MSFS. The aircraft has also been developed with input from ex-Royal Navy pilots, so you can expect a superb flight model (perfect for carrier operations) as well as all the extra little details that people have come to expect from top quality pay-ware aircraft models.
To win this prize, all entries must be made by CBFS members (registration and membership is simple and free) before December 15th 2007 and the screen shot must feature one of the freeware models made by CBFS developers under the theme 'The Golden Age of British Aviation'.
For more details of the competition and the prize, please visit the Classic British Flight Sim site here (http://www.cbfsim.org/) and click on the Screenshot Competition banner. Good Luck!
