News: Plane makes safe emergency landing in northern England, fire official says

LONDON - An airplane carrying 100 passengers safely made an emergency landing at Leeds Bradford International Airport in northern England, a fire official said Saturday.
"The aircraft has landed safely," a spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said on condition of anonymity in line with policy. "They had a problem with one of the engines," she said.
