Those interested in building their own home cockpit, or just dreaming about the ultimate flightsim setup, will enjoy the new video showing the Delta Flight cockpit. Over five years in the making, the cockpit is modeled after a Boeing 767-400 and uses eight PC's to offer a 180° view. For more information, click on Read More.
Our simulator, modeled after the Boeing 767-400, took over 5 years to build and incorporates 8 networked PC’s along with a 180° field of view. I began building the simulator in 1997 at the request of my brother David who suffers from Spina Bifida and Scoleosis.
Our simulator has been featured by a local news channel in Cincinnati, Microflight Magazine in Japan, and ECHO SIERRA ALPHA in Europe. Later this year there are tentative plans to feature us on the Discovery Wings cable television channel.
The CD/DVD, captures 76 minutes of flight time in the cockpit. Roy Steffansussen, a DHL A300 Captain, filmed an entire flight from Chicago O’Hare to Toronto Pearson. We discuss most all of the system components during the cruise portion of flight. This version is version 1 and was recorded using Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 along with a host of other programs like Project Magenta, Radar Contact, MyTraffic, Simflyers sceneries, to name a few. To date, we have sold over 81 copies and we have plans for a version 2 incorporating Microsoft Simulator 2004.
The CD/DVD sells for $15.95 plus shipping. Interested parties can read more on the video at:
