News: New Geforce 182.50 Driver

One of the most important things to do when running your flight programs is to keep the video card drivers up to date. This will eliminate various problems that might occur within the flight program itself. Problems such as stuttering, reduced frame rates and other program settings.
Guru3d is one of the major places to check for updates on all video card drivers as well as various other help aids. It also provides a forum to discuss new drivers as they are released, with many members who specialize in testing these drivers in different games as well as test programs.
My computer uses Nvidia so my particular interest is in the Geforce cards. The current driver for the Geforce cards is 182.50. This driver covers Geforce cards from the past up to the present high end GTX275 and in my particular case is giving excellent results in frame rates as well as sharp video. I am using an XFX Geforce 8600/512 and the new driver has thus far caused no problems with the computer operation. Of course each computer is different and a driver that works well for one may not work so well for another.
I keep a Driver Folder in my document files and after installing a new driver I place the driver installer in the "Driver Folder" for future reference.. By saving a copy of each new video driver, in the advent of a problem, I am able to revert to a previous driver that was known to work. These drivers are also archived by Guru3d, but it is easier to have the drivers immediately available on your computer in the event of a problem
