Today, we announce our new fighter project in 2009: Chengdu (CAC) F-10 fighter, code name Project 10. This add-on will run under FSX and FS2004 and include fully animated control surfaces, gear, canopy and engine vents.
It also has advanced animation systems such as air intake ramp-conditioning, ejection seat, emergency power, weapons firing, cockpit switches and sticks - which will promote animation XML code.
All of the animations will be carefully studied, so they are near the real plane's, not just visual effects, but also have practical functions.
Cockpit and instrument systems have a real function too. We will have studies on the power system simulation, avionics systems, navigation, communications, fire control radar and flight control system.
Now, we have textured aircraft screen shot released at Picasa albums.
We can complete the entire plane packet 2009.10. As the normal, we plan to publish the product via Flight1.
After the success of our products MiG-15 and MiG-17 in last three years, now the Project 10 will be a new standard for Chinese and Russian fighter jets to expand.
