NEW ROUTE EDITOR UTILITY EASES ROUTE CONSTRUCTION
February 10, 2003 - JUMPER V1.0, a new utility to aid in MSTS route construction, is now available at the JUMPER website, http://jumper.dem-ex.com.
JUMPER works with the MSTS Route Editor and standard MSTS marker files to save the route creator hours of time and frustration. Allowing the route creator to "jump" to a location by simply clicking on a list of locations from a marker file, JUMPER eliminates scrolling from location to location in a route using the arrow keys, entering coordinates by hand, or changing the route's start position in a configuration file.
Instead of copying a location's coordinates to a scrap of paper, JUMPER lets the route creator capture a new marker location based on the camera position with a single mouse click. JUMPER can also measure distance and bearing of a position in the route from a selected object or the camera position without using clumsy ruler or protractor objects. Uniform placement of poles or finding the length of a bridge needed to cross a terrain feature is easily done.
A demo version of JUMPER is available at the website, and a support forum is in place at http//www.dem-ex.com/supportforum .
Purchase Info: JUMPER is available for online purchase and download. It is priced at $10.00 (US).
