FlightSim Commander is a professional flight planner and moving map for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 and 2004.
Apart from standard navigational objects the map also displays airways with direction and FL restrictions, 12 different airspaces, minimum safe altitude, and airborne AI traffic with heading, altitude and call sign. A sophisticated TCAS system informs the pilot of potential collision risks.
An additional small-sized GPS window displays latitude, longitude, speed, altitude, AGL heading, next waypoint, bearing, distance, ETE, wind correction angle, wind speed, wind direction, cloud coverage, and visibility. The flight plan is regularly updated for fuel consumption, time of arrival, and current altitude.
Detailed printable flight plan includes frequencies of departure and arrival airports, fuel consumption for climb, cruise, descent, and approach, navigational information for departure and arrival routes, list of all available arrival runways with length, pavement, and ILS/NDB frequencies.
Printable information on all airports with graphic layout (runways, taxiways, aprons, and parking positions), listing frequencies, gates, runways and their properties.
FlightSim Commander also offers a weather generator, a procedure and holding generator, and a blackbox (record and retrieve flight data).
