More like a mini train-sim convention, the first RailDriver Open House will be held July 19th and feature displays, including the full size GP38 cab, a route editor workshop and more. Additional activities and exhibitors are still being lined up.
All dressed up and nowhere to go.
We were fully prepared for the NMRA show in Toronto, and since that's been cancelled, we're displaying everything here in our offices. The first ever RailDriver Open House will take place Saturday, July 19th from 10 AM to 6 PM at the P.I. Engineering building, 101 Innovation Parkway, Williamston, Michigan.
The open house will feature our full sized GP-38 cab simulator running Microsoft Train Simulator, with seat shaker, sub woofers, and projection monitor making it "As real as it gets." Tim Court, designer of the popular Mideast UK route and one of the principle authors of the soon to be released Severn Valley route, will be here to instruct and answer questions in a Route Editor Workshop. Other exhibits include hands on stations with our RailDriver Desktop Train Cab Controller running MSTS, Trainz, and a DCC layout.
We will have sample routes and activities for MSTS and Trainz to give out and RailDriver products for sale. Watch for more announcements in the near future as we are still lining up activities and potential exhibitors.
