We've done it: we've gone and created a team to search out Extraterrestrial Life, and to bring fame to RBFTP Networks users. There's no money prize, so we don't feel lame asking folks to join in our conquest of the stars. For those of you who don't know, SETI@Home is a relatively new project designed to harness all the un-used CPU power out there in net-land to analyze the kinds of data that the larger SETI centers don't process. It's way cool. You can learn more about it here. What do you do to join Team RBFTP Networks? This:
- Go grab the client. We'll keep you posted on client updates. They're working on 'em.
- Register as yourself once you install the client.
- Click here to get the the page you need to join the team, once you have your registration and password (if you don't have a password, click here). Supply your own registration information. Bam, you're on!
- Tell yourself that you rule, and that you will smash all the other members of Team RBFTP Networks on our team stats page.
The stats page will also indicate the top members of the team. They shall receive mad props. If you find alien life, and it's not in New York City, RBFTP Networks will buy you something as a gift. ;)
