Brisbane, Australia - July 3, 2003 - Game developer and publisher Auran Games (www.auran.com) today announced that it has signed a license agreement with Union Pacific Railroad (www.up.com), one of America's leading transportation companies. The agreement allows Auran to use the Union Pacific logo and likenesses of Union Pacific locomotives in Auran's upcoming PC-based software product Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004.

"We're thrilled that Union Pacific, the largest railroad in the U.S., has entrusted Auran and Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004 with their globally-recognized brand identity," said Tony Hilliam, Auran's Marketing Director. "Our North American fans will be delighted with the mix of both current and historic UP locomotives that we have included and the opportunity to step into the driver's seat and experience life as a Union Pacific train engineer. TRS2004 also offers an easy-to-use world and scenario builder where users can create new railroads and set up their own customized railroad experience."

"Union Pacific has been at the heart of American railroading for more than 140 years and we're excited to partner with Auran to reach a new generation of railroad fans," said Brenda Mainwaring, Director of Corporate Relations at Union Pacific. "The rapidly growing popularity of Auran's Trainz products will greatly expand the availability of Union Pacific products in the train simulation market."

Users can also create their own realistic environments, sculpting mountains and valleys, placing scenery objects, laying track, and connecting a variety of trackside industries and towns.

TRS2004 will initially be sold online at www.railroadsimulator.com and then at retail once publishers for various territories are secured. TRS2004 works with Windows 98, 2000, ME, and XP.
