    Mexican Airspace Released

Posted on Tuesday, October 07 @ 23:56:04 BST by darklord

Flight Simulator 2004 Now available from The Vans Aircraft Co. is Mexican Airspace 2004, scenery for FS2004. The scenery is substantially upgraded from the previous FS2002 version and includes among other things upgrades to the airports at Hermosillo, Culiacan, Colima, Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta, Toluca and Atizapan. For more information, click on Read More.

The Vans Aircraft Co., is pleased to announce the launching of Mexican Airspace 2004 (Espacio Aereo Mexicano 2004).

This new version is compatible with FS2004 A Century of Flight, and includes substancial improvements from the prior version (EAM 2002), and also an upgrade for that version (FS2002).

This new version, includes, among other things, new upgrades to airports that have been modified by the Mexican Aeronautic Authorities, such cases as Hermosillo, Culiacan, Colima, Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta, Toluca, Atizapan, etc.

Furthermore, the Mexican Detailed Terrain v2 is included, developed by Ruben Chanona Llano and Israel Barrientos Torres, it is bases on the latest topographical data provided by NASA, in its Shuttle Terrain Radar Mission (STRM), and the Mexican Institute of Geography, Informatics and Statistics (INEGI), to fill the voids in the STRM data… so no interpolation done.

Regarding the Mexico City International Airport and its neighboring zones, the detail has been considerably increased, for this the sensation of VRF flying in the zone would be amazing… In the whole country, landclass has been modified to match reality, and airport skirtings have been redesigned, to match our sceneries.

All the above is just a sample of all you will find in our new Espacio Aereo Mexicano 2004 (Mexican Airspace 2004).

Our distribution plan for the software will be as follows:

New Users: $ 57.50 USD + shipping (includes full retail versions for FS2002 and FS2004)

Actual Users: $ 28.75 USD + shipping (Includes full retail version for FS2004 and FS2002 upgrade) *

*To be considered as an actual user it will be necessary to send via e-mail a scanned proof of purchase, to the following address:

    soporte@vansairco.com

It is important to mention, that for the installation of this new version, the user must have an Internet connection, in the PC where the sceneries are to be installed.

Starting Monday, October 6, 2003, in Mexico, the package is to be purchased from our mayor reseller, Frecuencia 122.1 www.122punto1.com, or directly in our website: www.vansairco.com

Additionaly 3 of our planes modelled in Gmax are included:

    Boeing 717-200 in House colors,
Boeing 737-200 in Aviacsa Airlines 2003 scheme,
Boeing 737-300 in Azteca. Airlines 2003 scheme.

Regarding these planes, no tech support is to be given, nor additional information, this is because this aircrafts have been thoroughly tested and modeled based upon flight manuals, strictly bonded to actual speed booklets.
