Atlanta, GA 11/04/03 – Flight One Software is proud to announce that the much anticipated FREE upgrade for Ultimate Traffic is now available for download. After countless of hours of additional coding and refinement, the latest upgrade allows current users to bring the world of Ultimate Traffic to Flight Simulator 2004. The upgrade allows you to experience real-time air traffic along with the enhancements of the latest version to create a new level of realism wherever you fly in the FS2004 skies. The update also includes enhancements for both versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002/2004.
Some of the new update features users will find are new option screens on the interface, a powerful Airline Import Utility that replaces the old Extra Traffic method used in Ultimate Traffic. This new utility will let you import your own flights and see them throughout the various features included in the program, such as the PalmSpotter, Status Board, and Timetables. Also included is the ability to add Readme files for uploads; so users can receive additional information on the downloads provided by the Ultimate Traffic updater.
To make your airports more colorful, new generic liveries have been added to the default AI aircraft. We have made improvements to AI traffic night lighting, updated the flight dynamics, added a 24 hour clock option, and enhanced PalmSpotter to load data on the fly. AI Traffic in FS2004 can be managed better with automatic traffic file error checking and a new parking codes feature will enable users that use AFCAD 2 to have a new and unique method for parking AI aircraft at specific gates. This is just a sampling of the new features and that are included with the upgrade.
