The next generation of online flying has arrived!
FlightProject International (FPI) will introduce the ATOC Pilot Client to the public at the 1st German Flightsimulation Conference on November 15th in Paderborn, Germany.
With ATOC Pilot Client, for the 1st time, it will be possible to fly online using the "click&play" principle and all it needs is just one setup. It's so easy to use and install that even newcommers will be able to connect at an blink of an eye.
ATOC Pilot Client integrates itself as an extension of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 and FS9 - "A Century of Flight". It has many usefull features and the smooth display of other aircrafts at no noticable loss of frame rate is just a basic feature.
ATOC Pilot Client can be seen as the the first successor of SB2.x and indeed it is:
"The next generation of online flying".
Here is a brief overview of the features of ATOC Pilot Client:
- absolutely smooth display of other aircraft/vehicles online
- transperent an re-sizable window by using alpha blending technology
- enabled for remote operation (WideFS functionality)
- absolutely exact simulation of real world weather up to 7 layers, including real winds aloft in Europe
- fully integrated voice-over-ip module for speaking to controllers or other pilots with two seperate channels
- integrated TCAS with visual and audio traffic and resolution advisories according to ICAO rules and FSNavigator functionality in the route display
- ground charts of more than 27.000 airports available from within the client
- FSUIPC is *NOT* required for ATOC Pilot Client
- import function for FSBuild (from V2.2 on)
The ATOC Pilot Client will be available for FS2002 and FS9 "A Century of Flight" and supports MicroSoft Windows 2000/XP.
