    Flight One Releases Meridian 2004

    Posted on Saturday, November 15 @ 10:28:10 GMT by darklord

    Flight Simulator 2004 Now available for FS2004 pilots is Flight One Software's version of the Piper Meridian, a high performance single engine turboprop. Meridian 2004 has been re-developed with significant additional features and major enhancements and is available as a new product or as an upgrade for previous owners. For full details, click on Read More.

    Meridian 2004 has been developed for Microsoft’s Flight Simulator Century of Flight series. Following in the footsteps of its award winning FS2002 release, Meridian 2004 has been re-developed with additional features and major performance enhancements.

    • Significant performance improvements of the EFIS and Garmin 530 systems.
    • Active Route/Waypoints are now shown on the EHSI Arc and Map mode displays.
    • Fuel to Destination and ETE are displayed on the EDU.
    • Visible turbo exhaust.
    • Operational luggage compartment doors.
    • The Virtual Cockpit now incorporates "clickable" gauges.
    • Many enhanced textures and details are included in the virtual cockpit and exterior of the aircraft.

    Webster’s defines Meridian as:

    n. (arch.) Point at which sun or star attains highest altitude;

    (fig.) Prime, full of splendor; the highest point or period of highest development or perfection; culmination; 2. a. Of noon; (fig.) of the period of greatest splendor, vigor, etc.

    Meridian 2004 represents the highest level of achievement in 3D modeling and avionics design for the Microsoft Flight Simulator series: power, luxury and performance.

    Designed to be an advanced cockpit familiarization device, Meridian 2004 emulates what it is really like to manage and operate the Piper Meridian. Designed and built by pilots, for pilots. Meridian owner and pilot Tony Davis states, “Meridian 2004 is a definite aid in keeping my proficiency level high when not flying the aircraft. It is truly a tool, not a toy.”

    Previous Meridian 2002 owners may upgrade at no additional cost.

    Flight One has provided a dedicated site to showcase Meridian 2004 in high-resolution detail. You can visit The Meridian 2004 Showcase page: http://www.flight1software.com/showcase/meridian
