2004 Great Aussie Air Rally Announced

The Great Aussie Air Rally starts February 1st and continues for 81 days, taking participants on a lengthy tour of the continent while flying every other day. For details on participating, click on Read More.

The event begins in Melbourne on February 1st and ends in Melbourne 81 days later.

The route follows the coastline except for stops at Alice Springs and Ayers Rock,Australia and also at Port Moresby, Papau New Guinea.

Flights are scheduled every other day so that all pilots will have enough time to complete the Rally. Pilots may fly earlier than scheduled if they desire.
