Alberto Marun has opened a web site called Centro CAS (Centro de Aviacion Simulada) that offers flightsim pilots training in basic and advanced flying skills and offers certification as "private pilot", "commercial pilot" and so on. Some virtual airlines will use these certifications as prerequisites for members. For more information, click on Read More.
IVAO-Venezuelan MIQ-FIR Chief Alberto Marun has opened a web page called Centro CAS (Centro de Aviacion Simulada) or in English SAC Center (Simulated Aviation Center). The purppose of it, is that any pilots can learn the basics and not so basics of flying free at no cost, by taking courses and earning certification like "private pilot", "commercial pilot" and so on and soon to be available specific aircraft certifications like 737, 747 and so on.
These certifications are required by some airlines in order to become a member, more specific Avensa Virtual is doing so and in the future more airlines are to be included. They have trainers which assist every student, and they have theory and practice tests. They also provide written material to study. The only disadvantage is that the site is in Spanish only at this moment but hopefully soon will be available in English too. Also it has a store that provides student with other material like charts and more at reasonable prices in Bolivares and hopefully soon people could buy stuff from worldwide.
