TweakFS.com announced today the impending release of a new FS2004 front-end/utility entitled "TweakFlight" designed to tweak the FLT (flight) file with access to more that 150 separate variables.
TweakFlight is a "stand-alone" FS2004 front-end, designed to unlock many of these useful settings and present them visually for quick editing. It gives users the ability to quickly tweak their flight exactly how they want it without navigating several dialogs within FS2004 and to change some settings that cannot be done via the FS2004 menus.
The humble flight file (FLT) has until now been largely overlooked, yet it is a powerful tool that enables you to tweak your flight simulation experience. The average FLT file holds more than 300 different FS parameters and this is the first FS add-on to give access to many of these crucial settings.
Every flight you take in FS2004 involves a FLT file, whether you load one of your own or create one via the FS2004 interface. Therefore, being able to quickly edit the FLT file outside of FS2004 is a big plus.
