    Islands of The West Indies Volume 3 Released

    Atlanta, Georgia, March 2, 2004 - Flight One Software, and developer Chris Wilkes, are proud to announce that Islands of the West Indies Volume 3 is now available for Flight Simulator 2004/2002 users. In this third release of the Jewels of the Caribbean Series, Islands of the West Indies Volume 3 features accurate "mesh terrain" elevation data, hand colored and rendered bitmaps, extensive night lighting effects and custom renditions of all the airports in the region.

    The clear blue waters, lush island jungles, and white sandy beaches of St. Vincent, Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Mayreau, Union Island, Carriacou, Grenada, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago islands are covered in exquisite detail. The scenery also comes with "Autogen" objects, special effects, and ATC/AI facilities.

    There is also a special bonus feature for Ultimate Traffic users! Every scheduled service aircraft that flies to and from any of the IWI scenery areas (volumes 1-3 and the forthcoming volume 4) are all provided with repaints. The package contains over 50 repaints that were done for this special upgrade.

    With the bonus upgrade installed, every airport that has scheduled airline service in the Islands of the West Indies scenery areas (33 total), Ultimate Traffic users will see every aircraft painted at the airport. No more default paints are used on ANY of the aircraft. In addition to the new repaints, there is a new aircraft model that has been provided for Ultimate Traffic, the Twin Otter, plus an enhanced AI General Aviation traffic schedule for the area.
