Avro Vulcan XH558 (civil aircraft registration G-VLCN) "The Spirit Of Great Britain" is the only airworthy example of the 134 Avro Vulcan V-bombers that were operated by the Royal Air Force from 1953 until 1984.

Vulcan XH558 served with the RAF between 1960 and 1985 in the bomber, maritime reconnaissance and air-to-air refueling roles. The RAF operated XH558 as a display aircraft from 1986 until 1992, when budget cuts forced its retirement. She is presently operated by the Vulcan to the Sky Trust as a display aircraft, funded entirely by charitable donations and the UK Lotterys Heritage Fund. Her engines were replaced with new (zero hours) Olympus 202 turbojets, each rated at 17, 000 lbf, for better reliability. She is registered with the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority as G-VLCN but has an exemption to fly in Royal Air Force markings as XH558. Her home base is Robin Hood Airport, Doncaster Sheffield (EGCN).

FSX / P3D add-on

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

Great graphics and fab Vulcan howl and matched with Vulcan cockpit makes this a lot of fun. Only one issue i cannot get normal chase view is this an add on issue or a windows 8 (spit!) problem ? All round this add on is fab. Thank you for making it.

    I get an error message stating that the gauges for the Avro Vulcan XH558 are out of date. It does work though however, no cockpit is visible. Does anyone have a patch or new update for this?

    I have the same issue as Colin S. It looks like a pretty normal install, which causes no problems with other aircraft, but this aircraft does not show up.

    Hi, I have put these files in FSX Acceleration several times but the plane does not show up in the programme. I have no issues with any other downloaded plane, can anyone suggest a cure.
