IVAO's Public Relations Department has advised that IVAO's new ATC client software, nicknamed IvAc, will be released to its members today at 2000Z. This new ATC software is a replacement for ProController and has many enhancements over the current software being used by their ATC controllers. Some of the major improvements, which are based on actual input from real EURO controllers, includes a transparent COMMBOX, flight plan strip, in/out dialog box, improved radar screen graphics, display of the pilot's filed flight plan, quick zoom features, and user presets for colors, text, sector files, just to name a few.
Included with the release of IvAc is a comprehensive user-friendly instruction manual which details all the features with pictorial examples of the various installation, setup and dialog box functions.
To support the many new features available in IvAc's dialog boxes and the future release of IVAO's pilot client software replacement for Squawk Box 2.x.x, nick named IvAp, extensive IVAN server updates have been implemented to expand the "Real as it Gets" virtual flight simulation that IVAO offers its members.
