uropean Flight Design is proud to announce that they have gone under intense overhaul, to improve its performance, and service!
The first big change was the shuffle of management; Stuart Johnston, founder of European Flight Design, stepped down as Group Manager to concentrate on other aspects of EFD, whilst Leo Allan was drafted in to run the group.
"I'm glad to have taken over the management of EFD" explained Leo. "I hope it'll have the support of the flightsim community. I'm happy to say that we have a few projects lined up at the moment, and we will give out the details soon".
The group are sad to announce that the Piper Warrior project has been put on hold for now. Stuart Johnston explained that this had nothing to do with the re-shuffle, but the group wanted to focus more on the upcoming project, that is taking up a lot of time, and resources. The group cannot put a date on when the Piper project will be picked up again, however it is said sometime in the future.
European Flight Design is currently searching for someone with a vast knowledge and experience with both flight simulation and Gmax for the role of a 'Chief Modeller'. The position would involve the running of the modelling; we already have a modeller, however we require a more experienced modeller for one of our upcoming projects. Applicants will be asked to provide an example of their work. Anybody interested should get in contact with Leo Allan: leoallan0@aol.com
EFD also uploaded it's new website, which you can view at http://www.european-flight-design.tk. European Flight Design welcomes anybody in the forums too, and they would be very happy to answer any questions you may have.
