    News:

    FSQuality Announces Austrian Airports

Posted on Saturday, June 05 @ 00:39:58 BST by darklord

Other flight sim related news Coming later this month from FSQuality are two packs of Austrian airports. Austrian Airports Volume 1 covers eastern Austria including Vienna while Volume 2 includes southern and western Austria including Innsbruck. For full details, click on Read More.

Why pay 25,- Euro for one single Vienna Airport, if you can get LOWW plus additional 16 airports and airfields in best quality for 35,- Euro? FSQuality is proud to announce, that its Austrian Airports are due to be released later this month.

It took Stefan Rausch a lot of time and work to complete his project, as he had to correct and reconstruct a lot of things at the existing 14 airports and airfields previously released for FS2002. Changed techniques in FS2004 required remodelling of existing features and changes at the real airports (like the new tower and new buildings at Vienna Airport or the complete changed airfield in Zell am See - to mention two) needed to be implemented. And of course it took him a while to create additional 16 new airports always his goal in mind to give simmers the feeling to really be there. But now his work is done it and Austrian Airports for FS2004 (ACOF) are modeled in extreme detail with photoreal textures and are almost ready for release.

30 airports and airfields plus 4 heliports will be available later this month as boxed version in two volumes priced at 34,95 Euro (~ $ 42,-) each.

Vol. 1 will cover Eastern Austria including the international airports Vienna, Graz, Linz, 11 airfields in the eastern part of the country as well as 3 heliports.

Vol. 2 will feature airports in western and southern austria including the international airports of Innsbruck, Salzburg and Klagenfurt, as well as 13 airfields in the areas plus the challenging heliport at the Castle of Werfen.

The boxed versions will be available at stores throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland and as well as per credit card order through a website to be announced.

Beside the boxed version, six download versions, each with one of Austria's international Airports plus 4 airfields in the corresponding part of the Austria will be available for online purchase at 17,- Euro (aprox. US$ 20,-) each.
