The SCOTFLIGHT-Scenery for Scotland team are pleased to announce the availability of new scenery for Edinburgh International Airport for use in FS2004. This is a reworking by designer Iain Gallacher of his very successful freeware scenery for the airport for FS2002 and the new package is again available as freeware.
Use has been made of Lee Swordy's excellent AFCAD program to design the runways, taxiways and aprons of the airport. Incorporated within the same scenery file are modified AI aircraft movements and parking spots to match the new scenery layout. Added to this base scenery are many individually created airport buildings, lighting, signs and a variety of static service vehicles. Night time textures are also included.
This offering will be the first of three major Scottish airports to be made available as freeware. Very soon a package will be available for Prestwick International Airport, to be followed later with files for Glasgow International Airport. All three airport sceneries will of course be compatible with the 'Scotflight-Scenery for Scotland' product.
To download this new scenery package please visit the FREEWARE page at www.Scotflightscenery.co.uk. Some screenshots of the new scenery and of progress on Prestwick Airport are also available at www.igallacher.freeserve.co.uk
