All across the UK specialist magazines are announcing a downturn in sales and retailers are reacting to this trend by cutting back on the range of titles that they stock. This situation has received a lot of coverage in the national press and led to complaints from publishers that it's yet another example of "the public wants what the public gets." However, PC Pilot, the world's largest selling magazine dedicated to flight simulation, was very pleased to hear that in their latest range review, the UK's leading magazine retailer has upgraded PC Pilot and it will be on sale in virtually all of its shops - an increase in exposure of almost 20%.
PC Pilot's marketing Director, Bernard Lagrue, said "This is marvellous news. We have worked hard to persuade retailers that there is a huge interest in flight simulation and this increase in our UK distribution takes FS away from the 'specialist' sector of the market and into the mainstream where the fans know we belong. We try to our best to swim against the tide and getting PC Pilot under the noses of a few more members of the public is a good example of this."
PC Pilot was launched in 1999, is published six times per year and sells in major newsagents and bookstores throughout Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region. You can learn more about the magazine and order the latest copy from www.pcpilot.net.
