This tractor is used at Euroairport (LFSB) to tow and pushback regionnal aircrafts (like CIMBER's Crj-200).Very detailled model. The vehicle has two tow bar avalaible with landing light and panel light keys. See read-me file for technical features. Virtual Cockpit is include and sound package. The airport map is personalizable for each user. Really usefull to discover your new airport. Don't hesitate to send me screenshoots from your ride !! If you have suggestions for further evolution, conatact me via e-mails. By HAUGER Fredo.
Wing-in-Ground-Effect vehicle for recreational use in sheltered waters. Not a problem in FS as even the oceans are calm. ;-) Although it is true that WIG craft perform better the larger they get and need to be somewhere in the region of 400 tons plus to be capable of crossing oceans, there is something to be said for this much smaller class. Faster than any speedboat or hovercraft yet needing no more skill to pilot than either. The only limitation being its inability to climb more than a few inches above the water plus the need for the calm waters of slow rivers, lakes and estuaries. Kevin Bryan.
The craft which was designed to perform like a helicopter, provide the operator with a birds-eye view, be economical to operate, and be easy to maintain and store. Created by J R Lucariny.
FS2004 Gauge: Satellite Assisted Landing System, v9 (SALS). Using satellite data, this gauge provides glidepath/glideslope guidance into all runways inside the FS world. Approach heading and glideslope indicators are displayed during the landing phase in a fashion similar to those used with ILS and requires the same piloting techniques to keep the needles centered. Because SALS has the ability to guide an aircraft to both ends of a runway, every airport including grass strips and seaplane bases can be accessed with a high level of landing precision. In case of missed approaches, backcourse guidance is provided during climbout. Panel or separate window installation. Includes SALS icon gauge and Word doc with illustrated design parameters. These textures can be used to improve the realism when simulating overcast conditions in Flight Simulator 9. They replace the existing cirrus overcast textures, and allow one to use a thin cirrus overcast layer underneath a "regular" stratus or cumulus overcast layer to create a solid deck.
This will change youre current sun/lensflare, and give the sunset and dusk a beautiful effect. after hours of tweaking this is version3 sun effect. enjoy
FS9 clouds with improved contrast and recoloured for a realistic sky-scape. Pristine high-altitude clouds, golden sunsets, clear dawns, brooding overcasts and moody thunderstorms. No framerate impact because of small texture size (86kB). Extensively tested with no apparent issues. The screenshots were made with the great ActiveSky2004 running (payware) and the vastly improved dawn/dusk effects by Thomas Grillo installed. These are available here (dwndsk04.zip - a must have file in my opinion).
This is a replacement for the default landing ligts. I try to make it as real as it gets and I have used about 20 photos as reference. This textures will show in almost all planes no matter what size it is. It's a litlle difficult because FS use only one bmp to show lights in all aircraft, and the way it uses is a little weird. But as you will see in the shots the result is much better tham the default ones.
New real landinglight beam for fs9. Tired of that landinglight that illuminates the entire ramp or runway? Now you'll experience taxiing at night for real! Beam (dim) as close to landinglights as seen on pics from the net.(from a 737) This may vary with other (3rd party) ac than the default 737.
In the most of the cases, FS2004 aircrafts landing and taxi lights make a "too" white halo on the ground but the aircraft light intensity is insuficient. This archive contains two more realistic replacement textures.
This is an improved version of the contrails-fx for FS9 by Thorsten Reichert (c) 2005. The original contrails are too short and all in all not very realistic. Try this and see your AI-traffic like the REAL one. ;-)
This is a new contrail effect for your FS 2004. As you know, the original contrails are not very realistic as they are 2 dimensional, so I created a new 3D contrail for the FS2004 to make flights in high altitudes more realistic. In cause that you don't like the new effects there are backup files containing the original fx_contrail_l.fx file! Hope you'll enjoy it!
1. Fixed a serious bug in the Buttons processing, which could make buttons programmed for aircraft specific actions as well as general actions both activate when pressed.
2. Fixed another bug in Buttons, where changing programming between Key and Control actions, or vice versa, in the FSUIPC options could create duplicate actions in the INI file.
3. FSUIPC now retains comments at the end of Button program lines, provided they begin with a semicolon (;). There's a limit of 63 characters on the comment itself.
4. Comment lines can be included in the [Buttons] sections, provided they are numbered just like true parameter lines. This determines their position, which is then retained. The comment begins with a semicolon (;), so the format is n=;...
5. The "Extend METAR Max" option for visibility is changed in FS2004 to set a minimum of 10.1 miles for both metric (9999) and imperial (10SM) visibility specifications. This is in order to get the visibility past the FS2004 threshold for "grey skies" which appears to be 10sm. In FS2002 and before it was around 4sm, so it wasn't a problem in this respect.
6. An option to exclude calibration of the old THROTTLEn_SET controls is now provided on the 4 throttles calibration page. This ensures that FSUIPC leaves those controls alone and only operates on the newer AXIS_THROTTLEn_SET controls. Users of the add-on ERJ-145 aircraft will find that this allows the full FSUIPC calibration on separate throttles to be used with no problems.
7. A new joysticks options page has been added for up to 4 separate reverser axes. by default these are all assigned to the equivalent separate Mixture axes, which can be assigned in FS's own dialogues. An option is provided to activate these reverser actions for Jets only.
8. The TCAS_DATA2 structure now contains additional data. The "spare1" field is now "short sPitch", containing the aircraft pitch in degrees * 65536 / 360, and the "spare2" field is now "short sBank;", containing the aircraft bank in degrees * 65536 / 360. Unlike the rest of TCAS_DATA2, these fields are valid in FS2002 as well as FS2004.
9. Comprehensive facilities are provided to allow applications control over the AI aircraft TCAS data options. Details are provided in the latest revised Programmer's Guide. (New SDK 25th release is available).
This add-on for flight simulator 2004 allows pilots to come online and visit the Fly Away In-Flight forums and pass the time away while flying their Flight Simulator flights. We have created a forum specificly for In-Flight chat, but don't feel restricted to this forum only - you can also browse and chat in any of the other forums on the site. So, stop sitting there twiddling your thumbs in a long flight, and download the Fly Away In-Flight Kneeboard and chat on the forums from the FS Kneeboard while still flying your aircraft!
FS2004 Simulated Aircraft Bubble Sextant. As travel by air developed and matured, navigation over long distances also developed and improved. In the early days, however, air navigation essentially used ship navigation techniques adapted for aircraft. Without "landmarks", the navigators used ded reckoning (DR) and the stars. Celestial or astronomical navigation provides a means of obtaining lines of position (LOPs) from the stars. Crossing LOPs will fix a position. It requires a chart, and a planned course on that chart, with waypoints specified by latitude and longitude, an assumed time of arrival at each waypoint, and stars (including the sun, moon, or planets) in view. In the 1940s, extensive tables of star positions were made available to air navigators to be used with sextants to obtain these LOPs. In the tables, all times involved are GMT. This data is available from the Internet in "ready to use" form. This gauge simulates the sextant, and the process by which one obtains a LOP, or crossing LOPs to obtain a position, or fix. Can be used with any FS2004 aircraft. Includes comprehensive browser-based manual and references. By Dave Bitzer and Mark Beaumont.
