In 1942 Goerge Crockett established Alamo Airport (now known as McCarran Airport). After 6 years of Alamo, Clark County purchased the airfield and established the Clark Cty. Public Airfield and on December 20, 1948 McCarran Airport was named after U.S. Senator Patrick McCarran. So in honor of the airport's birth I made this 1962 McCarran Airport from the map. This is the Lubitz Field, in Bright, Southern Ontario, Canada. Here most UPAC annual conventions take place. UPAC is the Ultralight Pilots Association of Canada. The field is not an "official" aerodrome, so it does not appear in the Transport Canada documentation. The field in this scenery, however, will show on the FS2004 map and in the GPS with the ID letters "CLUB", and it has a UNICOM frequency. I have included in the package two of my aircraft, the Hummelbird and the Skyseeker, and a C185 created by Dave Pearce, as they are part of the traffic. The scenery has some traffic, using those three aircraft plus some standard FS2004 planes. The scenery required me to change the ground texture of the area, because Microsoft had placed a village in the exact location of the field. The result is a large number of texture files, due to the season changes and the mandatory use of autogen trees. All those texture files DO NOT have a significant impact on frame rate, as only some are used at a time. The scenery does include numerous individual objects, and you may want to remove some if your machine feels the impact. They are named as descriptively as I could make them. Authored by Fern Marques.
Description: Construction has changed the face of Gray Army Airfield and the original needed a facelift badly. Until I can figure out how to move, and change objects in FS this is the best i can do. Everything is accurate including parking spaces for Aircraft, including the new parking spaces for 4-6 ACS, and 4/160th.
These canyons are situated in the Western Province of Papua New Guinea and presents a great flying challenge to all flight simmers. I hope you enjoy it immensely! David Ricketts.
Simple floatplane bases to remedy the lack of FS2004 floatplane facilities in Northern Saskatchewan. These files work with both the default scenery and Dwayne Matheson's LOD8 mesh. Lyle Froese.
A model of Quang Ngai Airfield, a rudimentary USMC airstrip about 35 km south of Chu Lai Airbase. The 174th Assault Helicopter Company flew combat support missions from this location. The 4,625' asphalt runway at Quang Ngai could also handle C-123 and C-130 transport aircraft. This scenery was designed for FS 2002 but it should work in FS 2004. George Knowles.
A model of Vinh Long Airfield (circa 1968), a US Army combat aviation base in the Mekong Delta. It was the home of the 114th Aviation Company. This unit flew UH-1 Huey helicopters, and was known as "The Knights of the Air." Vinh Long also had port facilities for a fleet of US Navy swift boats. Vinh Long's 3,500' asphalt runway was flanked on both sides by large, rectangular water-filled basins. This scenery was designed for FS 2002 but it should work in FS 2004. George Knowles.
A model of Soc Trang Airfield, a strategic combat support base in the Mekong Delta about 2km southwest of Khanh Hung. Soc Trang was originally a World War II Japanese fighter base. In 1962 it became the first USMC airfield in South Vietnam. The HMM-362 squadron flew UH-34 helicopters. After the marines relocated to DaNang AB, they were replaced by the US Army's 93rd Transportation Company and 121st Aviation Company (T-28s and A-1Es). They were known as the "Soc Trang Tigers." A real tiger named "Tuffy" was the base mascot. This scenery was designed for FS 2002 but it should work in FS 2004. George Knowles
A model of Quang Tri Airfield, a strategic USMC helicopter base. The 1st and 3rd Division marines at Quang Tri flew CH-46 Sea Knight and UH-1N Huey Iroquois helicopters. Quang Tri Airfield was located just a few miles south of the the DMZ which made it extremely vulnerable to attack. North Vietnamese and Viet Cong forces attacked Quang Tri several times during the war. Although it wasn't a coastal base like Cam Ranh Bay or Tuy Hoa, the site of Quang Tri Airfield was very sandy. The sand contrasted with the surrounding terrain and looked somewhat unnatural. Aerial photos confirm that the base had this unusual appearance. This scenery was designed for FS 2002 but it should work in FS 2004. George Knowles.

Include waters scenery for Ireland - designed with srtm waterbodies data - Featuring - rivers - lakes - shorelines for the whole of Ireland - use default roads and streams.
This is just a small enhancement to Fresno Air Terminal. There will be a terminal upgrade and accompanying AFCAD, jetways, and lights. The AFCAD will close the smaller runway so that ATC will not clear an MD80 to land on it. You must have "Rwy 12" ver 1.1 installed for this scenery to work.
This scenery pack significantly redevelops the Barking Sands Airfield area, including major improvements to AFD information for the field as well as buildings and infrastructure. Barking Sands is used by the US military for a variety of research and development operations.
