This scenery is a remake of my original Lanai scenery for FS2002, which was way to overdone for this sleepy little airport. It now contains a very quaint, rustic Hawaiian styled airport which has been made and updated to work in FS2004. There are a few changes in the landscaping and updated car parks have been used. Since there are no turnouts at the ends of the runway in FS I have also provided these. By: Bill Melichar.
This scenery depicts the Robert L. Bradshaw International airport on the Island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean. It contains the modern new terminal, along with the distinctive green glass tower, and outer buildings. It is a small airport which is located in a valley between two mountain ranges near the southern end of the Island. The scenery has been updated to work in FS2004 by changing the location slightly, removing the hills which are no longer necessary, since FS has now done a great job with the new terrain. The tarmac area is now more representational of the airport, since the scenery tarmacs now override the default FS tarmacs, taxiways, and lines. The airport now has a cleaner layout, and the taxiway extending to the runway end now fits in perfectly. More trees have been added to prvent the stark look of the old scenery. This airport needs an afcad, since there are some A1 aircraft which park in the middle of the taxiway. This scenery will not work in FS2002. By: Bill Melichar.
MKJS This scenery corrects the problems encountered in FS2004 of my recently released scenery of Montego Bay (Sangster) International airport. It seems as if the airport location in FS2004 was moved slightly causing my scenery to end up back near the hills. Everything has been moved to the new location, and some improvements have been made such as a second story on the entire terminal building, more plants and roadways, and guidance lights which now go right into the Air Jamaica hangars. The parking lot is also deeper since there is now additional space behind the main terminal. This scenery will not work with FS2002. By: Bill Melichar
Island of Tahiti, French Polynesia...FAAA, I.D. NTAA By: Bill Melichar This is my Tahiti version 2 scenery which has been adapted to work in FS2004. There were a few issues with the illuminated palms, and some scale problems with the baggage carts and sail boats. Everything has been repaired here, and the scenery now works beautifully in FS2004. It even looks better with the new autogen city of Papeete now extending up into the hills behind the airport. Frame rates are also better with 2004 even with autogen maxed out. The terrain mesh for French Polynesia by Rolf Keibel and John Applegate for CFS2 also works great in FS2004.
France. This is the second version from my scenery from Meyenheim military Air Base who is the home from two French Air Force squadrons EC1-30 "ALSACE" and EC2-30 "NORMANDIE-NIEMEN", she is located North-East from FRANCE in ALSACE.Complete rebuild from the entry of the base, from the Tower, cells, Addition from an helipad "Start Location", new 3D trees, rebuild from all road in the base, addition from signal panel around the base, AFCAD file include. A major work was made to improve the Frame Rate. Full compatible with FS2004 ACOF. Thanks to MAtthieu LAPORTE. By HAUGER Fredo.
Spanning the Mighty Fraser river this magnificent bridge adds to skyline of Vancouver, and will be seen on approaches to Vancouver Int Airport. By David Christian
Not actual Helipads but more like funny icons to land on. Place these replacement files in the texture directory and play leap frog from building to building. Created by Wm. R. Pulick.
Includes Pin Rivers scenry by Mal Lloyd THese are my latest versions of these two great little General Aviation airports for FS9 (FS2004) Redcliffe is the next biggest general aviation airport in the Brisbane region after Archerfield. This version is a fairly close representation of the real thing which is the home of 2 flying schools. Many ga and also sport aircraft are hangered here. Watch out for the swamp at either end of the runway.... quite a few aircraft over the years have landed there by accident! Redcliffe is also notorious for crosswinds which can make takeoffs and landings interesting at this airport.Caboolture is a wonderful little grass strip about 10 minutes flying north of Redcliffe. The airstrip dates back to WWII and is the home of a strong warbird/vintage aircraft restoration industry, 3 flying schools, a glider club and also a large ultralight fraternity. Caboolture can be a busy little airport on the weekends and a Vintage GA aircraft spotters paradise! Steve James.
These are fantasy objects for Meigs field in Chicago. There is a T-Rex at the end of the runway (his name is Ogelthorpe), a pier with covered parking for boats or float planes and two large hangers for crazy bi-plane pilots to barnstorm thru upside down.
PHLI This scenery completely redoes the original right down to the last palm tree. It includes an all new terminal which is highly detailed, and now includes the entire airport. With a cargo area, hangar area, and airport office buildings. The default FS tower has been left in due to its nice rotating beacon on top which is something new in FS2004, but it has been incorporated into the scenery with the office buildings at it's base. The front of the airport has an all new parking lot complete with parked cars and landscaping. I have not used any objects which have known transition problems between FS2002 and 04, so it should also be completely compatible with FS2002.By: Bill Melichar.
International Airport, Island of Guadeloupe French Caribbean. Use the complexity in FS2004 if the FPS is lower on your PC,because this scenery is very complexe and require a fast PC to fly with all details! By: Christian Delblond.
This is my first complete new scenery for FS2004, and it enhances the entry and inside of the default FS LAX. It has all new pylons at the entry to the airport, which now light up in color synchronization with the tower and restaurant structure at the airports center, just like the real light show at this airport. The LAX sign as you enter the airport is also included here. The palm trees throughout the airport are now more politically correct for the Southern California area, and what you would see at the real airport. There are also airport vans in various airline liveries parked near the terminals of their perspective airlines. There is now much greater night traffic flowing through the airport, roadway overlaps have been cleaned up, and the 405 Freeway has been shortened from my previous version to conserve on frame rates, but still provide the visual impact when landing here. This scenery should also be completely compatible with FS2002, but the tarmacs have been removed since they now exist in FS2004. By: Bill Melichar.
